The Junior League of Champaign-Urbana is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Through research and partnerships, we identify specific needs our community is facing and develop projects to answer those needs Ronald McDonald House believes when a child is sick, a family is sick. Their mission is to let families get better together. Through Ronald McDonald House® and Family Room® programs, we have been by their side since 1977, providing a caring and compassionate environment where families can rest and find support while remaining close to their hospitalized child. The mission of CU FAIR is to support the resettlement of immigrants, refugees, and political asylees in their transition from dependency to full self-sufficiency. Since its humble beginning, we have grown to include the support of over 35 faith-based and community groups. CU FAIR currently works with immigrants, refugees & political asylees from Afghanistan, Iraq, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Central America, and more. Kenneth Young Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, comprehensive provider of mental health and older adult support services. Kenneth Young Center’s compassionate professionals help people of all ages overcome life’s challenges and achieve their goals through personalized behavioral health and older adult services. We help people feel good, do better, and find solutions. Our mission is to promote boxing, health and the wellbeing of the people living in the most deprived and disadvantaged communities within Middle Tennessee, without distinction of race, gender, political and or religious belief. Our purpose is to make a significant impact on the local communities' health and lifestyle and to provide outlets for young people to develop and participate in the local community.
